Meeting Room Description

 

Situation and access

On first floor of complex, at rear of church.

Access through side door from car park, and up stairs.   Toilets are downstairs.  Can use car park to take in equipment etc. 

Not suitable for disabled use.

Suitable for

 

Small meetings,  informal or more formal seminars.

Capacity

 

25 if theatre style maybe less depending on the type of event.

Seating

 

Blue fabric chairs  which can be arranged in rows or in circle around room, or round a table, for more formal meetings. 

Refreshments

Electric kettle  and access to shared  kitchen facilities for water and washing up.  Sandwiches can be brought in from outside

Clients are expected to provide their own tea and coffee.

Musical instruments

 

None provided.

Audio equipment

 

Plenty of power points and extension leads for audio players, etc.  Room small enough not to need microphones etc

Projectors etc

 

Pull down screen on one wall. Power points and extension leads for projectors or other electrical equipment.etc.

Available for 1 car if necessary. Can enter from car park with equipment. Public Car Parking close by.

Haymarket metro station a 5 minute walk.

No Smoking

No Smoking is permitted anywhere on Church Grounds.The pedestrianised Zone on  Northumberland Road has seats and also bins where cigarette ends can be discarded.

 

Now listed Grade 2*, The building is an uncommon example of a central Free Church. The central ceiling, chandelier, stained glass, wrought iron screen and notable pipeless organ by Copeman Hart (1973) are important features.

The Church and ancillary rooms were refurbished in 1997, with English Heritage and Heritage Lottery Fund support.
